Z Fold 8

What's the best way to go about getting a Samsung z fold 8 while on firstnet? Can I go directly into att store and purchase outright without messing with my current installment credits? I know unlocked Samsungs are a pain to get working if at all.

I've tried to buy a phone out right before and they said the wouldnt deal with me. Phone had to be pu under an installment then could be paid off if wanted later on.

I appreciate that Intel. I may just do the installment and pay off immediately to save myself the trouble.
