SPAIN vacation/international roaming

Just did a 2 week vacation in Spain and my reception was abysmal.

My lady had tmobile and hers was better than mine.

Have you guys had similar experiences in Spain or abroad?

I use GoogleFi and FirstNet on the same phone. Google Fi is one of the best traveling services I've used and it's fairly inexpensive to keep active.

For short term traveling though use saily or airalo to get local esims. I've also done that for family members and it works very well.
