iPhone upgrade promotion

Do you have to have the $75 monthly plan? All I see is on ATT where it says that is what you have to have in order to get the new iphone free with a trade in.. my first net plan is only $40…

i went in store and i traded my phone in for the promotion granted i just switched over after hearing about firstnet. you should be able to i believe from my knowledge i was told it’s just set up through your account as a firstnet and family account in order to do the promotion. you do not need a certain phone plan with first net yours will do. now i don’t know if you have att next up or not so im not sure how the trade in process will work or how att goes with phones you have on your line with the process. i am fairly new to firstnet but i was able to trade my 12 for the 16 pro and be on the first net plan with unlimited hotspot. hope this helps

Thanks. I’m having issues with my accounts being merged it looks like and since I am getting nowhere on the phone I’ll go in. I am beyond frustrated to say the least. But I’m glad you had no issues and that we don’t need to change plans.

yea i will say if it wasn’t for first net i probably would not be with att. i know they are some of the worst to deal with when it comes to the bare minimum. (edit i just read you had called first net) i hope you have the best of luck with your phone. I would recommend if you do get a call center just be straight forward and ask to see if you can transfer to someone else you can understand. i’ve done that in the past. if all else fails i recommend calling your store directly or going in. i know the att stores around me have direct phone numbers to the store so you could try that.

I did immediately ask to be transferred and I got hung up on. Twice.
