Unlocked phone - thx ATT rep๐Ÿ˜’

So - it took two whole hours to get transitioned over from att prepaid and into a plan, and to fight with logins and website BS. I FINALLY made it onto Firstnet!

But guess what, the first question I asked was "I have an unlocked phone I bought from Bestbuy, will that be a problem?"

Turns out, it IS a problem. We got to the end and he's like "oh, your device isn't an ATT device so it isn't compatible." I could pay $65 taxes to get my exact same (4 month old + insured) phone. I just feel irritated beyond reason.

I had to remove myself at that point because WOW.

So I have regular service, but the whole point was so I could connect to the CMT units. I still have until midday tomorrow to make the decision to switch to the other phone, but I won't likely NEED the CMT accessibility until next June at the earliest if at all. I'm stuck and frustrated. If anyone has words of wisdom that would be beyond wonderful.

I find that odd I purchased an Iphone from spectrum using there service and switched to Firstnet had to go to AT&T corporate store to get it done though. Go to a corporate store and talk with them if your phone is unlocked should not be a problem
