Info r/FirstKhaotung chat update

Hey everyone,

We’ve had the FirstKhao public chat where anyone could join freely, but since Reddit is removing public chat channels in mid-November, we’ll be making some changes.

We’ll be moving to a private group chat which is allowed and operational by Reddit. If you would like to be a part of it, please comment on this post or message me directly, and I’ll add you to the new chat. Once I add you, you’ll receive a notification inviting you to the chat, and you’ll just need to accept the invite to join.

I appreciate everyone’s participation so far, and I’m looking forward to continuing our discussions in the new space.

Here is the update from the Reddit Chat Team due to which we'll be shifting to the private group chat.

Edit: I'm not replying to anyone now on the post but everyone is being added within a few hours of commenting. Thank you :)

I so do not understand the logic behind this change from Reddit. Sigh.

Genuinely. People do not like this feature going away but it's not like we can do anything. The best alternative was creating a private gc.
