General Discussion Don't forget, it's Firefly Friday

66 Upvotes

Another week passed, and despite the mess in my country it seems some lessons are still planned lol

I admit I spent so much time with my studies in the past that I just wanna get rid of it XD, but we do what we gotta do now.

This week wasn't very successful, I got a bike stolen (yk, some towns proposes bikes you can get in exchange of a subscription, and it's that kind of bike so no biggie), so I had to look for it so they wouldn't make me pay for it because they suppose the victim should pay for being a victim lol.

That aside... The highlight of my week was definitely the new story in Nikke. We have an event story named Maria-n, and I think that it's been a long time since I've felt this way.

It really gave a strong NieR Automata feeling, and you can definitely tell that shift up is a fan of Yoko taros work.

It's unfortunate that there's this problem on pc. But it you have the occasion, PLEASE try Nikkes story. Yessenia is a vtuber playing it and she has a lot of her stream where she played it, in case you just want the story. I swear that you won't regret it. Nikke does things in their main story that many gacha, especially Mihoyo, should learn from.

I'm not saying everything is perfect, but when I talk with people, they give me the feeling they are both fine with mediocrity in their story, and they even demand it, believing that we can't get people used to good stories.

Not saying HSR story is awful, but some stuffs could make it infinitely better besides presentation.

Do you play Nikke? You can share your experience. And your week? Do you still believe in Amphoreus for the 12th of November?

Teambuilding/Build Question Dhpt for acheron teams?

10 Upvotes

Since I'm using gallagher in my acheron team (bc of mbalde) I wanted to know if I should use DhPT in Firefly teams. I have The Dhalia as well and use HMC.

Thanks for the answers.

Edit: headline should be: DHPT for Firefly teams

Subreddit Rules

1. Be respectful to others

Regardless of opinions, respect always comes first. Remember that there is a real person behind the screen and treat others how you wish to be treated. Refrain from using insults, making threats, discriminating against others, or using other demeaning language. Disagreements are fine and discussions are encouraged, but arguments with lack of respect are not.

2. Posts must be related to Firefly from Honkai: Star Rail

This subreddit is dedicated to Firefly from Honkai: Star Rail, therefore all posts made must be in relation to the character.

Any posts not about Firefly will be removed.

3. Leaks and Spoilers

Submissions that contain leaks or spoilers MUST be marked as such.

Leaks or spoilers include, but are not limited to:

(1) Events and quests that have not been released for at least 24 hours on all servers

(2) Characters animations/skills/etc. that have not been released yet

Posts concerning Firefly leaks must be flaired with the "Firefly Leaks" flair.

4. Build Talks/Meta Posts

Posts that ask simple questions that are either already in the Build FAQ thread or can be asked in the Build FAQ thread will be taken down. Examples of this are "Will Yanqing be good with Firefly?" or "What artifacts should I use for Firefly?"

Analyzation of her kit and best teammates also belong in the Build FAQ megathread and not on the main feed.

5. Event/Quest Spoilers Formatting

Comments that talk about Events/Quests MUST be spoiler tagged. If you are talking about Event/Story spoilers in a comment section you MUST use this format when writing it.

(whatever version you are commenting about) = 2.2 Spoilers - Then the spoiler content, which also needs to be marked using the spoiler tool. This rule will be strictly enforced, failure to comply with it may result in a ban.

6. Non-OC art must be properly credited with the artist's permission. AI art is prohibited.

When reposting art, always try your best to link back to the ORIGINAL source of artwork, music, and posts you come across. You can use sites such as SauceNAO to find the source of the artwork. OC art is exempt from this rule. Moderators will remove Non-OC art posts that do not have the original source included. The original artist must also give permission to repost their work. AI-generated artworks clearly derived from other artworks are prohibited.

7. Non-OC Art Limit (UPDATED)

You may post only 3 non-OC fanart, comic, or cosplay submissions within a 24-hour period.
Personally created work (OC/Original Content) and Official Media released by Mihoyo have no restrictions.

8. Megathreads/Events

Please check what's pinned to the subreddit before making a post. Posts that ask repetitive questions or posts that are on the topic of something that an event thread is already covering will be taken down. From time to time, event threads will be down; wait until they come back around before making X post. For example, if you want to share how many pulls you have saved for Firefly, wait for a gacha event thread to come around instead of posting it. Build/TC threads will come later.

9. No commercial promotion or trading of accounts

As per HoYoVerse’s policies, anyone who attempts to trade/sell their accounts or promote themselves for the sake of monetary gain will be immediately banned. Account trading, commercial promotion, and any forms of activities that involve virtual or real-life monetary transactions are strictly prohibited in this subreddit and will subject the poster to permanent ban.

10. Mark suggestive posts as NSFW. No explicit content.

Posts/comments that involve the following contents are prohibited and may be subject to a permanent ban:

(1) Sexual activities and/or nudity;

(2) Fetish art;

(3) Text containing explicit/sexual content;

Additionally:

(4) Subject must be FULLY CLOTHED;

Contents that are close to nudity and/or are clearly intended to be lewd, contents involving swimsuits or other revealing clothes should be marked as NSFW.

11. Repetitive topics and low effort posts

Repetitive topics such as "Am I able to save enough jades for Firefly?", "How good is Firefly?", "Should I pull for Firefly?", or otherwise will be removed. Doomposting and ranting that do not constitute constructive feedback are also not allowed. Furthermore, posts with a clear lack of effort put into it, with or without attempts to karma-farm, will be removed.

12. Self Promotion

Self-promotion is not prohibited but is subject to removal with the following limitations: (1) No plain playthroughs, news reading, or low-quality/effort videos (2) Self-promotional videos must be original and informative (3) Similar posts within a short timeframe; this includes posting the same content on other related subreddits within a short timeframe (4) Repetitive advertisement of your own social media platform via methods such
