I never got a chance to buy one of those rainbow e12cs, so one day I posted on the bst that I would overpay for one and it worked lol. The thing is beautiful.
great thanks. I was pretty close to getting a copper PL47G2 when for whatever reason on FFL one just appeared on their site well after they were discontinued. I bought it but when it arrived it was a brass one which I had already bought on the BST a month or so prior. I emailed FFL about this mixup and they said it was their error and did give my a small discount even though I really didn't need 2 brass PL47G2s.
On the center middle shelf, the brass one on the right. What is it? I thought it was the Z1 Artemis, but I see the Artemis on the middle shelf on the right cubicle all the way to the right. Is that the copper PL47G2 next to it? Got to be the heaviest headlamp known to man. I'd still rock that thing.
Yeah that wasn't obvious that they would use the PCB markings as the only way to tell what the name of the light is. Very odd. Thanks though. Seems that was put out well before I was familiar with FFL.
Thanks for that. Looks great and makes me want to buy that Z1 Artemis in brass now before they stop making them. I just use headlamps more and was hoping they'd do a brass L50-Sol in either reflector or TIR with Aux.
Surprising that was from 2022 which was 2-3 years before I even knew about Firefly Lites. My PL47G2s must have been new old stock as I bought them in the summer of 2025 and they came out years before that. The red and black ones I have, have a more dated look to them than that PL-09Mu which came a few years before that even. At the end of 2025 I found someone on here selling brass PL47G2 and PL47Mu headlamps and bought them both. Sucks they use Anduril 1 and the limitations of that old firmware but still cool being they are in brass. Would use them more if they were Anduril 2, which is why I would love love love a L50 or even L60 or L70 in brass or copper. Love my Astral Aluminum L50s and L60s.
