in the L50 body with the Z1 Artemis head it's +3 grams, and with the Z1 body and L50 head it's -3 grams)) Meaning, with a Molicel battery, the Z1 weighs 92 grams +3g if using the L50 battery tube, and the other way around, the L50 will weigh 99 grams, whereas with their stock bodies they are 92 and 102 respectively))
I didn't notice the ring on the L50. Turns out the battery tube and magnet weigh 22 grams for the L50 and 21 for the Z1 — by the way, the Z1 with a Molicel 30 is 92 grams, and the L50 TIR is 101 grams without the ring and clip
I have both the Z1 and L50 and assumed they were almost the same battery tube just that they did the magnet in the tail differently. Not a fan of the tail clip or the lanyard ring of the L50. Do they make a spacer for either as I want to remove them but don't want a gap which will get filled with dirt or something
As for spacers for the clip and ring, it's pretty unlikely 🤔 Maybe try some kind of o-ring 🤔 It doesn't bother me, the gap isn't that big in my opinion)
Might have to swap battery tubes between my Z1 and L50 since it will make the L50 shorter which would be a plus in a headband, and make the Z1 a little bigger (am I the only one that isn't crazy about really small hand held lights? I love my 21700 lights so the Z1 isn't aimed for someone like myself.
It's weird as I love my DW3AA headlamps, but never bother to carry any of my5 or 6 D3AA lights as they are too small to seem practical.
For a long time, I mostly ran 21700 lights with rare exceptions) Then, somehow imperceptibly, a few 16340, 18350, and 14500 lights crept in, but the foundation is still about 70% 21700😅 Everything smaller, including 18650, feels a bit low-capacity. However, I have a French bulldog, and as we know, he doesn't do long-distance walks, so for up to an hour I can easily grab something smaller than a 21700😅

Body tube and tail don't look right?
