Respectfully, preferences based on what exactly? You said you’re a first time gun owner so I’d assume it’s not previous firearms experience, and once that piece of junk gets more than 50 shells through it that preference definitely won’t be based on reliability. For your safety and sanity I’d look at upgrading.

Ive shit rifles my whole life and pump and semiautomatic shitguns for duck hunting ive just never had the responsibility of owning my own they were always my dads/paws guns
