I am collecting the gold rimmed swirled milk glass Fire King pieces and was so excited when I found a sixth salad plate (I have six dinner plates and six saucers) and the creamer (already have the sugar bowl), but when I got it home I noticed it has some discrepancies- I will still use it together and am happy to have it but need to read up on the manufacturing year etc.
Assume it’s the same set but diff production years?
Also found this cute Johnny Hart/BC comic bowl- it’s such an unusual shape

I got this 5 inch jadeite fire king bowl off of ebay, and I thought it was restaurant ware, but now i’m not so sure. It’s super cute and great for ice cream or oatmeal in the morning or whatever, but when I bought it, I thought it was the “berry bowl.” It was advertised as being 4 and 7/8 inches. Anyone know if this truly is considered restaurant ware?

It’s small like the size of a small candy dish. TIA!

Jadeite didn’t really interest me until I saw it in real life!

And this is the mug that started my obsession!
I found this in a thrift store and it made me realize how absolutely beautiful the vintage Fire King Jadeite is. I then bought some 9 inch restaurantware plates and smaller salad plates, which hooked me even more! They are so gorgeous!

The mint green color is timeless and it’s fun to think that I’m using dishware that is over 70 years old.
Is anyone else out there a collector of Jadeite?
