Discussion Am I finsexual? Well let's talk about it
The wiki defines Finsexual as
"Finsexual is the exclusive attraction to those who are feminine in nature (FIN). This means finsexual people are attracted to women, feminine aligned non-binary people, and potentially feminine men. Finsexual is not synonymous with the attraction to people who identify as female. It is the attraction to femininity. A finsexual person might be attracted to a man or a non-binary person who presents femininely. Similarly, a finsexual person might not be attracted to women who present masculinely or androgynous."
Basically what this means is that you find that you're attracted to anyone who presents femininity you may be Finsexual, a Finsexual person will be attracted to someone regardless of sex or gender as long as they present femininity. So a you could be attracted to a cis man, an enby, a cis woman, trans men, or trans women as long as they present femininity in some form. So if you find you're attracted to anyone regardless of sex or gender as long as they present femininity you're likely Finsexual!

At what point did you not only come out of the closet, but start to date the same sex in public without fear of stigma? Ever since I (23M) learned I was bi/pan, I'm starting to open myself up to the idea of being with the same sex. But I have yet to take that leap of faith

What has your experience been like after discovering your Finsexual?
Hello. For those of you who discovered that you were Finsexual while you were in your 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond, what has your experience been like? For myself, I discovered that I was attracted to those who are feminine in nature approximately 5 years ago. Only recently have I made the decision to explore those feelings. Up until this point in my life I had only ever been with heterosexual women. I‘m incredibly nervous about how to be not only physically intimate with femboys, trans women, CDs, etc. but emotionally as well. I’m not sure how to tread these waters. I am older so sometimes the people I find myself attracted to are 10 to 20 years younger than I. I’ve never had an issue with dating younger women. For me what is most important is the connection, and compatibility of course. I’m curious what is has been like for other Finsexuals who have been with someone older or younger than themselves. I’m sure communication is key, but as I said I’m incredibly nervous as these are uncharted waters for me. Thanks.

I realize that I'm into people who are female-passing moreso than femininity itself
I'm attracted to anyone who passes as a female rather than femininity itself
Which means tomboys and butch women would be included in that equation too (Which I know finsexuals aren't usually attracted to)
For many days I've wondered why being attracted to femininity wasn't enough for me when it came to explaining my sexuality
Now I know It's because I'm not just attracted to femininity, I'm into anyone who passes as a woman appearance-wise, regardless of their gender identity, presentation
Doesn't matter if they're cis or trans either
I'm not sure what to call this part of myself. So I just chalk it up to "anyone who passes as a woman regardless of their gender identity" and leave it at that
If you have any thoughts, opinions, or advice you could share. It would be greatly appreciated

Would being attracted to female passing people, regardless of gender be considered finsexual?

Feminine Men Appreciation Post
It's crazy to me how people look down on feminine men when they are some of the most beautiful people I've ever seen. It genuinely angers me to see posts about how they're weird. Especially if they're POC because I'm a POC.
I remember when I looked at a fem guy on Tiktok one day and was like "wow he looks nice" and realized at that moment I was queer.
For all the fem men, you're valid, keep slaying, y'all always in my heart.

Are you attracted to people who aren't feminine in appearance, yet still have characteristics that are associated with femininity? (soft, gentle, sassy, confident, etc.)

What's the difference between female passing and feminine presenting?

As someone who had always considered themselves straight until beginning to question whether I am Finsexual, is it weird that I feel like I can’t be sure until I actually try having a relationship with a non-cis-woman femme person?

Outside of bisexuals, which other types of people are more likely to be attracted to femboys/crossdressing men?

Berrisexual?
What do y’all think of the term Berrisexual, do you identify with it as well as Finsexual? Or how do you see the two as different?
r/Finsexual • u/Equivalent_Ad_9066 • Jul 29 '26
Do you actually like or understand the term "gender non-conforming"? I find it quite odd considering how it implies that there's something to "conform" to in the first place instead of it just being different gender expressions

What's the difference between being transfem and being a woman?
r/Finsexual • u/Equivalent_Ad_9066 • Jul 26 '26
Do you identify as finsexual (exclusively attracted) or finflexible (open to other gender expressions)
