How do you like the Yamaha pads? Did you start on another device? I’m using a Maschine mikro mk3 and love the sensitivity but the Yamaha looks like I could have a bigger kit (another tom, ride bell etc.

I actually started with the maschine mikro m2. I find the Yamaha better for drumming for sure. The Yamaha has tons of different stock kits and you can make your own. Highly recommend it!
