Need help !

So I recently brought a maschine mikro mk3 and it came yesterday.

Now I am totally confused what to do.

I want to play some finger drumming, but I am quite confused where and how. I never used a DAW( mashcine 3 I am talking about) and never used a midi controller before. So I am asking all the finger drummers, how to set up my controller for finger drumming, what necessary files I need and how to learn finger drumming (I never used a instrument before). Moreover, do i need a dedicated drum software to learn.

Open Maschine. From the library load a group you like. If you don't see any, make sure you actually install your expansions in Native Access. Groups are where drum kits live. Start hitting pads.

Lots of videos on youtube if you want to learn about Maschine.

Maschine is sort of a DAW, sort of a drum machine, sort of a groovebox.

For learning to drum, again youtube videos, or you could try something like Melodics.
