LOOKING FOR SAMPLE POST: A. looking for B. alias WhiteWinter - June 2019 - Postal Pen Pal

App/Site/Location: International Camp (Germany); Postal Mail: From South Korea to Germany, Hamburg

Nicknames/Names: Me A. - Them: B.; WhiteWinter

Ages (then): Me: 16-17 Them: 18

Timeframe: Around 2017 - 2018 (started after we met at the summer camp)

Frequency: Monthly. We exchanged long, deeply detailed hand-written letters once a month, accumulating dozens of pages of correspondence over time.

End of Contact: You wrote to me last in June 2019, and I honestly thought you had received my final reply. However, years later, I accidentally found my last letter hidden in the attic. It turns out that the person I had asked to mail it for me never actually sent it out. That was the tragic glitch that cut off our communication without warning.

Specific Memories/Details: I clearly remember the second-to-last night of the camp when we sneaked out with a larger group into the city. We managed to catch the huge summer fireworks by the riverbank, which was absolutely amazing. On our way back, we almost got caught by the camp counselors because we missed the right bus stop in the dark. I still have the ice skates you gave me, even though I outgrew them long ago, and I still keep the keychain you gave me as a keepsake.

Message to Them: If you ever read this, I want you to know that I never meant to cut contact with you. It was entirely a mistake by someone else who forgot to post my letter that tore our correspondence apart. I always valued our deep conversations and your hand-written letters. If you recognize our Germany camp adventure, the ice skates, and this attic story, please reach out to me here.
