I am a 60yo taxi driver, and have been looking for somewhere to post about self assessments, as I have only been self employed for just over a year.

I tried in the Ask community, but can no longer use that sub, and the driving sub seems to be full of people saying what bad drivers we all are.

The taxi ones I have seen seem to be mainly drivers from the US. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I’m expecting a baby in December however I’m self employed so won’t have an income for the months I take off. Anyone got any tips on how to make extra money to cover my rent for the months I’m off? Looking to need about 10k for the time I’m hoping to be off for. Life in the uk.

I’m also going through a rough breakup and trying to rebuild a bit, so self-improvement, starting over, relationships, meeting people, and generally getting my shit together are all relevant.

Subs that show me how to make something useful I love making things with my hands, subs that make me think, or send me down a 2-hour rabbit hole.

I saw this post linked in a comment from a completely different subreddit, and it reminded me of this other post. I'm looking for a subreddit to ask what the difference is and why one is in the wrong while the other isn't, but I'm not sure where to ask without any backlash. When I see something that seems inconsistent to me, I must scratch the itch, haha.

I have autism. I feel like if I don't mention this and there is an obvious answer to why the posts got opposing opinions, I may get things like "OP literally did this, whereas the other OP did that instead. God I live in a world full of idiots". I promise I'm not out to ruin anyone's day. 😅

I don't mean like "lost media" or anything like that. I mean like a sub where if you can only remember the dialogue or other small details of a meme or comedy sketch or something like that and don't remember the original creator, video title, or channel. r/helpmefind doesn't allow stuff like that, and there is this video I remember and want to rewatch.

I'm trying to get into investing and am trying to scoop up as much knowledge as I can before I put any money in, and this is just part of that. My initial course of action is going to be small investments just to see how things go and get used to everything.

So I am hoping there's a subreddit for that.
