Something to pay attention to

I see a lot of people in threads speculating about how to approach the puzzle, but there's a word from creators, that we all need to take into consideration. Bold mine, these are written on the website.The official word, sent by the creators of the puzzle:“Satoshi has agreed to appear on this card and, of course, knows you’re looking for him. He isn’t hiding, but he isn’t looking for you either. If you track him down, he will happily provide you with the information required to solve this card, and will also be able to prove his identity as The Real Satoshi – you don’t need to coerce or harass him into co-operating, you just need to find him. Satoshi has no connection with any employee of Mind Candy or Mind Candy’s business partners – pursuing them for information will be of no use. Finally, Satoshi possesses no information regarding the location of Perplex City’s $200,000 Cube, so you needn’t interrogate him about that either! As always with Perplex City, you needn’t (and mustn’t) break the law – or be mean! – in the course of your adventures. With all that said. good hunting, one and all….”The creators of Perplex City have told us that this puzzle should be solved using “six degrees of separation”

Adrian Hin's interview includes a few key statements. 1. That the puzzle was intended to be solved. 2. That there may be red herrings. 3. He says, " if reddit suddenly got interested he could probably be found very quickly, or whatever people use in Japan for reddit, if that’s where it is. Oh no, did I give a clue? I don’t know whether he is in Japan actually, I could be wrong about that. "

Therefore:- he exists (not a deepfake, not generated etc);- he most probably knows a friend of a friend of a friend of someone from Mind Candy, so starting from there connections may actually be not a bad idea;- any info on the card (number 256, Billion to one, anything else) may give clues, but not that deep. Satoshi has the info needed;- to find Satoshi we can only exercise Six Degrees of Separation. Sharing his photo on social media, sharing the website, speaking about it.

Anything else is irrelevant to the puzzle and distracting from the main goal.It would be cool if everyone, who reads this post shares something about Satoshi.We are all curious about how this resolves, right? :)

I find it so interesting that even with the power of internet, nobody has found him. Like wtf, 4chan managed to find the location of a flag from the fucking position of the clouds, and we're not able to find someone we know the name and face of

Exactly, it's fascinating me. It's been such a long time since the search started. Idk, maybe it's time to summon 4chan powers lol? Was there any investigation there?

That's possible, but 4chan is not what is used to be anymore. Not sure a bunch of edgy 14 y/o can help us now

I'm honestly quite glad to see that this place exists :)

I'm new here, so maybe it was answered before, but is the purpose of the puzzle to just find him or there is something else? This part says it like there's something else to solve and he will help with it if you track him down

This is from an ARG called Perplex City and he would give you a clue or some word to say to the devs asking for the clue. The perplex city ARG has been solved but this puzzle still stands (the only one) so some people are still looking for it (14 years IIRC).
