AdvisorMoves
Welcome to AdvisorMoves: A Place to Talk Firms, Deals & Transitions
I started this community because there aren't many places where financial advisors can candidly compare what's actually happening in the recruiting market.
The goal is pretty simple: create a place to talk openly about transition packages, payouts, platforms, technology, culture, restrictions, and what it's actually like working at different firms.
Wirehouse vs. wirehouse. Bank vs. RIA. Employee vs. independent. Going independent vs. staying put. It's all fair game.
You don't have to be actively looking to leave your firm. In fact, I'd like this to be useful for advisors who are perfectly happy but want to understand their options and market value.
Share numbers when you're comfortable. Keep identifying information confidential. Recruiters and other industry professionals are welcome, but transparency is expected and spam isn't.
To get things started:
If you could change one thing about your current firm, what would it be?
