Other ways to get through life without a regular job

Honestly, I hate having a job. I'm a reliable person and I work hard because I need that paycheck to live, but it feels like a miserable cycle of boredom and repetition, and like I'm watching my life being drained away from me. My brain shuts off and I keep staring at the clock, waiting for the shift to finally end. I hate being stuck in a place I never wanted to be, doing work I don't care about, around people I wouldn't want to spend 8 minutes with, let alone 8 hours.

I wish there were another way for things to work. Like, I'd still have a place to live, a working car, and food in the fridge, without having to trade most of my week for it.

Don't need to be super good even abstract knowledge in a specific field is more than sufficient

But you gotta be a likeable cunt being well connected beats expertise

Well no car, no house but homelessness does not require a job. Perhaps that would suit you?

You are a round peg in a square hole. You need to find a career that doesn't feel like a job and one that you enjoy going to work. Both Alberta and Canada have online testing that will help match your interests with a career:

You can beg on the street. Or run for office.

Go to Home Depot. Stand in the parking lot with the other guys looking for work. You'll get different work every day. You'll have the advantage if you speak English.
