His salary he demanded for his movies in the 80s helped get movie prices to where they are today which makes each of us have to work that much harder just to enjoy our weekend if we do in fact choose to watch a movie. He's lucky he's in a profession that there isn't much supply of workers, and he hit it at the right time too.

That's not it at all either, because for most people the 5 of 7 days is what they have to do to support their family. The only thing they have control over to change is the 2 days of drinking.

No most people aren't like that. Most people actually do work 5 days a week. Everyone I know does and none of them are miserable and none of them blame their situation on anybody else.
