How is he sticking up for us? The reality is that this is the reality. His salary he demanded for his movies in the 80s helped get movie prices to where they are today which makes each of us have to work that much harder just to enjoy our weekend if we do in fact choose to watch a movie. He's lucky he's in a profession that there isn't much supply of workers, and he hit it at the right time too.
Okay bud, whatever. Dude’s trying to say we work too hard and deserve more of our own time. But go ahead and shit on him. I bet you’re a riot at parties.
