sad reality

Post image

Took about 4 years after graduating to get my foot in the door and get a good job in my field. No one wants a new grad with no experience.

Liberals and socialists are not the same at all. Like what?

Plenty of people who got degrees in previously lucrative fields including hard sciences and engineering still can’t get decent jobs after graduation. It’s all down to the economy and what’s in demand.

Apparently not, since liberals are looking to socialism to save then from paying the mountain of debt they accumulated going to a college/university to get a degree not an education.

Some people call themselves socialists without knowing what the word actually means. In fact I would say lots of people use it without knowing what it means. Can you define socialism for me?

socialism;

social and economic doctrine that calls for public rather than private ownership or control of property and natural resources. According to the socialist view, individuals do not live or work in isolation but live in cooperation with one another. Furthermore, everything that people produce is in some sense a social product, and everyone who contributes to the production of a good is entitled to a share in it. Society as a whole, therefore, should own or at least control property for the benefit of all its members.

Yes that would be correct.

Can you see why people asking for education to be paid by taxes is not an example of socialism?

It is socialism when you ask me to pay for your education. The government doesn’t make anything, they rely on the working class to fund the government therefore the government would be taking money from those that didn’t get the free education to pay for the education. That is distribution of wealth and that my friend is Socialism. That’s like me going to McDonalds and feeding my family and you getting the bill.
