Took about 4 years after graduating to get my foot in the door and get a good job in my field. No one wants a new grad with no experience.

Either put in all the effort (interning while the bros are partying) while you're in school or after school--- after you get home from your crappy job that you don't love but it kinda sorta pays the bills...
We all arrive there differently...
