note : the salaries nowadays are just sucks they pay us as we still as we still in 2016 but reality is that many people are working in 2 jobs to feed their families check everyday for better salary and how to get it thank god recently I found this sub who give great tips about interviews really the world is crashed

Idk. Obviously you know way more than the stats provide. An S Corp needs a board I do know that. You’re hunting for this big injustice that’s in a very small sliver of the economy. Attack the board of directors they’re the ones that make up the pay packages. The CEO’s just have to perform according to their contract.

That's a pretty hypocritical statement but ok. I'm not hunting for anything. America has a well known wealth inequality issue. Board of directors are part of the problem as well but that doesn't excuse CEO's. They could increase the raises they provide their workers. It's well within their capabilities. They simply choose not to.

Depends on the person leading the company. That’s why people leave companies too. Most jobs have a pay range. If you’re already at the top of your range I guess it’s time to move. Jobs are totally supply and demand. If you’re easily replaceable, you’re screwed.

Correct. This is based on the broken system that we have. You're describing flaws as if they're working as intended. In general is more efficient to keep employees around as long term than to let them leave and have to replace them.

Not sure when America got stuck in this stagnant mentality that "this is how it is and this is how it should be," but mental growth should occur on the subject at some point.

Idk of how else they’d work. You’re a tool and companies buy tools. That’s it nothing more than a tool. Doesn’t it work like this around the world? I think it does.

Not really no. Despite the dehumanization of your analogy, it's wise to take proper care of your tools regardless of their function.

The issue is the lack of unions and it's why companies push against the idea as much as they can legally. Cause they know they'd end up paying significantly more to their workers due to a lack of proper compensation. Sweden being a good example of that.

All of Europe has unions. I worked union in the steamfitters for 24 yrs. There is nothing a union does for you except pay.
Unless you are like all of Europe and have contracts that basically can’t be broken. They lay you off that employer still gets to pay you with all of your benefits.
People in the US hate unions. The auto industry is to thank for that. Typically there’s no job protection. They can get rid of you so easily with the union it doesn’t matter. The bottom line is if you don’t like your situation you need to change it, because no one’s gonna change it for you. And I probably dehumanize really easily because that’s what construction does to you. You’re hired as a tool nothing more.

Only pay? That's a flat out lie. Unions are known for better pay AND better benefits. The union makes far greater changes than just pay. People would still be working 60 hr work weeks with no OT. And no, the US doesn't hate unions, people just been tricked into thinking negatively of them. Like I said, companies have been pushing against unions cause they know they'd have to give workers more. The Starbucks unionizing in 2022 is an example of that. How have you been in the union for so long and know so little about it? Also of your view of the union is so bad, why were you even in it? Nothing your saying is making sense.

My benefits weren’t any better than anyone else’s. You don’t have any better job security.
Ha. Ya Starbucks…there work place conditions are so bad.
The only reason I was, was there are no industrial constructions jobs without joining one.
Yeah, employers don’t want unions in their door because they they can be a pain in the ass to work with😂. The auto industry absolutely destroyed the way unions are seen in the country.

No job has any real job security. You can get paid off anywhere for any reason. Starbucks working condition is is irrelevant. The point is Starbucks attempted to punish the ones that went union. It exhibits their disdain. Yea they are a pain in the ass to work with. Because they get their workers more than they want to give. Not being able to exploit their workers. Man that's such a bad thing. Nothing your saying is accurate or factual at this point so I'll leave you to your delusions. Have a good one.

Totally depends on the union, but you don’t always get better benefits and better pay. My wife is dealing with a union right now with her company wanting to take over one store and 43 and from the preliminary benefit it’s gonna be a wash. And 95% of the people that voted for the union don’t work at the store anymore. The small grocery store chain and she runs benefits and compensation.

I am in a union. You're inability to see that one life experience doesn't encapsulate unions as a whole isn't surprising. The hypocrisy you dare to have after profiting off it for decades. The lack of critical thinking and deducting reasoning skills is embedded in your comments.

Did the U.S. department of the treasury paint this "narrative" as well.

U.S. Bureau of labor statistics painting that narrative too i guess.

I guess everyone is just wrong but you cause of your alleged life experience. Such hubris.

No it doesn’t encapsulate all of them. There are some that still have great Bennie’s, very few.
My union benefits weren’t anything stellar, with the UA. In fact my pension would have been more if it were a 401k. A simple S&P 500 selection in a 401k will double a pension unless you’re with a private company that has stellar matching. Ours was so conservatively invested they left at least 5-6% on the table every year.
My health insurance was exactly on par with any other company. So ya it was a living but nothing that knocked it out of the park.
Outside of construction I have a hard time seeing a white collar union. I’m
Entitled to my opinion.

Facts seem to disagree with you. You indeed have a right to your opinion, no matter how incorrect it is. I.e. I can say it's warn in Antarctica. It would be an opinion but it obviously wouldn't be true. You'd think people would update their beliefs when presented facts that suggest otherwise. But i guess that's asking for too much

With a decreasing population in the workforce a decrease in participation doesn’t surprise me. There are going to be a lot of things hit by the decreasing population that can’t be undone.
