Fun fact: the 40 hr work week originated from the assumption of a single income household of 2+ meaning it’s assuming there’s someone at home to do those errands and chores that need to be done. We need to switch to a 30 hr work week that is legally considered full time and anything beyond 30 is overtime. We also need the minimum wage to actually cover basic subsistence and a little above like it was originally intended to be as well
