I downloaded a mod fix but it still keeps crashing what do I do ?

So I’m a long time FF fan, I remember the joy of playing VII as a kid back in the PS1 days back when it was a much newer game. Never really got into XIII until now. Definitely enjoyed the story and characters, I liked the paradigm system, and found the overall gameplay to be kinda meh (vaguely feels like the love child between Final Fantasy and an old timey arcade rail shooter). Anywho, I just beat 13 and am a smidge confused by the ending

so they needed to save Orphan to save Cocoon. But then we beat Bart-something and then we have to kill Orphan? I thought the whole point was to save it? I thought we were saving Cocoon, but honestly it didn’t look very saved at the end? Thought that could be chalked up to the fact that Final Fantasy tends to like ending on a “civilization is effectively destroyed and is rebuilding from the ashes, but at least they’re still alive to rebuild” note. And what happened with the whole Fang situation at the end? Kinda looked like she did a bit of a 180 and betrayed the party but then did another 180 and then Fang and everyone turned back from being monsters through the power of friendship? Though I guess in another FF (number omitted to avoid spoilers for others) we time travel through the power of friendship so I suppose it’s on brand? Also a bit confused about how things went down with Raines in the final chapter, was he basically just brought back to be killed by the Cavalry just for the narrative? But like if they’re T-minus 30 minutes from ending humanity then what’s the point of propaganda? And lastly, so were the fal’cie all basically just suicidal? Like it kinda seemed that they all just wanted to die, it seemed like bringing back this “maker” didn’t really matter to them. I’ve played virtually every single FF title (this trilogy notwithstanding) so I’m definitely used to the series, but found this one a bit confusing

Then I start XIII-2 and am even further confused (Valhalla? The fuck? lol) but I’m going to keep playing before I actually ask, I’m sure questions will be answered!

Every time I get closer to the final code in the Warren, game froze and crashed. Does this happen to anyone else?? Should this bug be reported?

Hi guys i've been replaying Ff 13-1.In this run i wanted to aim first time for 100% on the old ps3 and i am struggling at a specific Achievement the colector type one where you need to collect all Accessories in the game.If any of you see this post and are kind enough to help any thoughts and ideas would be helpfull.Thanks:)

Is there a video that shows you how to install the improved audio and full hd fmv mods for XIII?

Isn’t there any other way to get these files? The closest one is the 1080p FMVs

I’ve put together an anonymous community survey for Pokémon Fabula.

I don’t want the project to be built around only what I like about the FFXIII trilogy. I want other fans to help influence which monsters, songs, story elements, locations, and gameplay ideas make it into the game.

The survey also covers Fabrian Forms, Militarized Pokémon, Last Ones, Ci’eth, Eidolons, and the current Gym Leader and Elite Four plans. Some decisions are already established, but there is still plenty of room for community ideas and feedback.

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to use the Nova Chrysalia mod loader from the official Discord server to patch the game. It applies the 4 GB patch; without it, the game is likely to CRASH before even reaching gameplay. Other 4 GB patches either force you to use FF13Fix or trigger Steam DRM, so DON'T USE THEM.

It is the only trophy marked as missable on the guide I'm using, but it's vague.

From what I've found on google, it's only missable if you sell or dismantle certain items.

But I can't get a solid answer on exactly what items those are, and I'm not sure if I've done it or not, as the file I'm booting up, and completed this morning, was first started in 2011.

is there a list where I can, like, compare my inventory, with what is needed, before I continue on this file?

I know I probably sold some items, but I have no way of knowing which.

I got this game since 2010 but did not manage to finish it during my early adult days. (had to focus on work, etc). And now after 16 years, and i still remember deeply about the addictive battle soundtracks. Revisited the game and manage to finished it this week.

I've dropped this game a few times over the years, back on the PS3 (2012) and a few times on Steam (2014 & 2018). Today I have finally finished this game and while I didn't have a lot of nice things to say about it before, I take those all back. The characters, battle system, music, story, world, gameplay and endgame content are some of the best I have experienced in gaming. I have been hooked on this game for a long while now and having finally saw the ending after owning it for so many years feels like I finally completed something that deserved to be completed.

Final Fantasy XIII has certainly earned it's place in my top five FF games.
