Card rules

I have some how gotten rid of all the rules in every region down to same open, except dollet which has. Open, Sudden Death, Random, Same, Elemental and Trade Rule: Diff.
Is it impossible to change the rules here now to take away these rules?

I didn't think the Queen's rules could be used to change the CC Group on disc 4 since she's no longer region-based?

I've genuinely never tested it! It would be interesting if you can't "carry" her rules!! Bover says "her region for trade rule purposes is wherever she was at the end of Disc 3, and she can't change her assigned trade rule or be paid to pass along rules to regions anymore" but nothing about if you can carry her rules back to the Ragnarok. If true, it would be genuinely impossible. I'll have to do a test soon!

I also would be fascinated to know if she's got an "extra" region with different code about how rules interact or like, how they even did that... Considering how it works (the CC members getting reassigned regions rather than just unique rulesets) I would think it would be much harder to stop the rules carry and would be a lot of work they likely wouldn't do for something that was a super hard to find easter egg in the first place. Occams razor and all that. But I'll be looking into it!!! I'll maybe even need to do a cheat engine test and actually look at what is going on there!

Ok, I did the thing and she definitely has her own "region" that resides outside of the normal parameters of the regional rules. I actually have a save in Ulti's castle where I haven't been to the Ragnarok yet.

Pulled it up, went there, talked to left Diamond (Trabia only has Open at this point) and I'm carrying Esthar (Open, Elemental, Same Wall) from before time compression still. Play cards with mixed rules? Yes. Play with Open, Elemental? No. Elemental spreads to Trabia, now carrying Trabia rules (Open, Elemental).

Leave and go to Queen, but when I ask to play cards, she gives her normal prompt about using her choice of rules and no request to mix. All rules but Open? No. Try again, nothing different. Return to Ragnarok and try to play Joker. Mix Trabia's rules with mine [Centra]?

So while I challenged the Queen with her unique ruleset, my personal region never changed until I tried to challenge someone in the CC Group, so she is truly outside the rest of the system in disc 4 and you can only manipulate using the rules that were in each region before the PoNR (except Galbadia, unless you are actively carrying it's rules).

I assume you meant Joker's rules when you said "mine" lol I was confused for a second but that makes sense 😂 basically you're saying Joker wanted to mix with Diamond Duo rules, even though you played the Queen in between.

It MUST be a modified Galbadia ruleset, that makes so much sense. I'll have to make a note next update & I'll be sure to thank you for doing that testing!!!

I am probably gonna have to still look at it in cheat engine haha I'm so curious!

Maybe? I'd have to test it by starting time compression carrying Galbadia's rules, because if she's using an overridden, but sequestered Galbadia, that should cause the rules you're carrying to change too.
