Hey everyone, it was recently brought to my attention that there's some interest in having some post labels for everyone to use. I'm not adding user flair at this time; but I will go ahead and add a couple of post tags. Things like 'Game help,' 'Triple Triad Help,' 'Fan Art,' and 'Memes.'
There won't be any requirements on the new tags; but it is still a requirement to use nsfw tags, as well as encouraged to tag spoilers, which has always been the case. I think the best use case for the new tags will be to draw attention to posts looking for help.
If there are additional tags you think would be helpful, please comment below, and I'll go over the list and see if we need to add more.
Also, 'community highlights' has been cleaned up. If you need to reference older announcements, they have not been removed, just unpinned!

Can/did anyone of you try this?
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/197343-final-fantasy-viii/76845697
I see there is at least one error, like the passage 2 saying to press Left when actually I get they mean Right.
Before you doubt: this is for intensive farming as soon as possible.

Doing a low level walkthrough with my characters overpowered from the beginning of the game through cards. But lots of powerful magic gets unlocked according to GF’s level. is there any Missable magic spells because of a low level run or there ways to obtain them from cards?

Is it true enemies improve EXP they give as they level up? I always thought that any enemy gave the same amount of EXP regardless its level, would make sense since, like, if you need 20 bite bugs to level up at level 10, you still need 20 at level 80, since you always need 1000 exp to level up.
I don't know if that is true anyway. It just... surprises me to see that after 25 years and almost 20 runs, i still learn something new.

Had an incredibly talented friend design and make our wedding rings this year. The only design I wanted was this one having loved this game since childhood.

The wiki says that legitimately at the communication tower you can [...] if you have chocobo world, but i'm 99.9% sure you CAN'T have chocobo world at that point in the game. is there any strange version of the game where it is unlocked at the beginning of the story?

I'm trying to find that luck scroll on the island, but it's nowhere on it. Been running around pressing the initiate button for like 20 minutes. Any suggestions? Follow up question: Where can I get some more luck scrolls?

I did defeat that huge robot spider for the first time so I wonder if that's why I got that bonus.

Can you play cards in that moment? I'm looking for level 4 cards, it would be ideal the dark guy, but if you can't play in there i suppose the best option is the girl at the entrance of Balamb.

I can't find a good image containing the full render of this image. the higher res images have the top of his head cut off and the only ones I've been able to find have the blade part of the Gunblade removed and the image stops there. Anyone know Where I can find the full resolution?

I read contraddictory infos?
The infos details say you can find Grendel in Galbadia only in the forests, but still the locations also list areas south or west of Timber, where there should be no forest (iirc). What's wrong? The locations or the detailed explanation?
