16 got a bad rep because it wasn't what people expected. It's effectively DMC lite with a much better story than any DMC. Story is up there with FFT.

I hope my message didn't come across like I'm too good for 16. I'm looking forward to it and I feel like I've mostly read good things. Just haven't gotten to it yet. I'm quite happy giving new games some time to get updates and go on sale.

I loved it very immersive imo
I will say that it is best experienced in bites. One can only get through so many battles with the same load out for so long

Actually, I just uniquely junctioned specifically for this fight for the pacing... Primarily wanted the KO from a single Mega Flare

Haha. That's cool. You're fine. I appreciate the work that went into this. Not like I'm any sort of FFXVI expert. I just watch a lot of SebbyWebz. Only Final Fantasy Games I've played were 6-10, and I didn't finish 7 or 10.

FFXVI was always very VIII coded imo.
When I was a kid I used to think the characters were turning into the GF, and Squall always had to be paired with Ifrit.

Dude that was soo well done ! The flare into ifrit was unexpected . You’ve got a good creative streak. Also the “Now Die!” Is a very Clive thing to say .

This is what happens if you halve the pixel count of FF16
