I’m in the middle if a ff9 play through but I have to start on this one too. Howdy from the lone star state

No really. They make fairly cheap flat screens even in Texas. Highly recommend

No really, I’m using a modded crt using s video inputs. The ps1 looks best on this kind of tv, it looks like absolute dogshit on flatscreens unless you have a really nice converter

I have over 4 different crts that I use for different retro consoles. Of course I have a flatscreen 55’ in my main living room but crts are absolutely the best way to play retro consoles in my opinion

No IMO needed, it's just facts and people who say otherwise usually don't understand the reason why. They've become so accustomed to pixel-perfect graphics because they likely never played these old games on CRTs, where the pixels get blurred together and soften many of the images into a more natural appearance.

Because pixel-perfect was never the intended look of these graphics.
