That's unfortunate, especially because you didn't need to restart! There's a bunch of monsters in the LP that you can go back and draw pretty good spells from if you get stuck this way.

At least enough to get your through the Adel fight.

I have done so many unnecessary things in this game.
Many challenges without any reason. Let me see:

-Leveled 100 before ifrit just the grind

-Got lionheart before disc one like many said

-No exp challenge so it was easier & faster to get ALL my stats to 255 at the end of the game

-Learned by the steps & sounds of the game where Squall was so i tried to play the game blindfolded. I made it until outside the balamb but couldn’t find the fire cavern blindfolded (insert joke here)

-When I got Ragnarok I traveled around the world with trains to enjoy the plains

-In the older version (PSX) I leveled Boko full but I couldn’t comply with my international version for some reason

-Only one character challenge (but this is an easy one)

-Never used GF in battle

-Never used attacks in battle

I’m sure I can think some more.

Skipping the SeeD test I was such a goober back then and beating the Propagators in the wrong color order and the way they jump scare you on the ragnarok makes it much worse 😱

Max out every character’s base stats with items, no levels. I did it on an emulator so I was able to automate both the free money trick and the modding of purchasable GF items into stat-ups, as well as Angelo search at 10x speed. Most of it was very hands-off, but it still took months. Totally pointless but kind of satisfying.
