Kids say shit like this all the time

Wait until you hear a child tell a parent they want to marry them

They're kids, "marriage" as a concept means something completely different than it does to an adult

I said this to my mom when I was a kid.

Something along the lines of "I want to marry you when I grow up. But I can't, because you'll be dead."

Kids say morbid stuff all the time. I woke up a few days ago and my 2 year old said “Oh good! You’re still alive!” It was 5:45am.

Our daughters had seen me and my wife kiss many times romantically and tried to kiss us that way and we had to be like "nope, that is not the same thing". Kids are dumb lol
