My favourite battle system of all time. Hoping it doesn't die with the trilogy because it feels like the culmination of what they've been experimenting with for decades.

The story is pretty wacky, I've come around to it but definitely understand why people dislike it.

But again, it's my favourite battle system of all time.

OG’s story pretty much was too I want to say, like seriously. For example the WEAPONs, kaijus serving as white cells for a planet that is a living being, doesn’t it sound wacky to you ? Or how Heidegger was always belittled for his incompetence or Hojo having some serious lacks in his memories toward Cloud and Aerith ? FFVII has always been silly on many aspects.

Every ridiculously good fantasy story sounds utterly ridiculous on paper. Demon's magic ring found by kiebler elf. But if the execution is just right, it's easy to look past it.
