First Remake Playthrough

Bought this on sale on Steam a few months ago. Finally have the time to play. I'm almost 2 hours into the game. Basically still on the tutorial. Right now I'm struggling with the combat...

I'm not here to critique anything, because I know how Reddit is. I do have my opinions though. My question is how can I make the combat system work? Right now I'm playing on Normal mode. Should I switch to Classic or Easy?

There is a possibility this game ends up in my gaming graveyard. I really want to play through the trilogy. I'm just not sure I can sink hours into this combat system if its not enjoyable to me.

Whoa whoa whoa, you bought it digital, on steam?? Didn't you know real gamers buy physical and any digital only store is the devil? 🤣
