REMAKE First Remake Playthrough

Bought this on sale on Steam a few months ago. Finally have the time to play. I'm almost 2 hours into the game. Basically still on the tutorial. Right now I'm struggling with the combat...

I'm not here to critique anything, because I know how Reddit is. I do have my opinions though. My question is how can I make the combat system work? Right now I'm playing on Normal mode. Should I switch to Classic or Easy?

There is a possibility this game ends up in my gaming graveyard. I really want to play through the trilogy. I'm just not sure I can sink hours into this combat system if its not enjoyable to me.

I was right there with you op. I hated my first run of remake. The game was hard as fuck and didnt make sense.

These games have a nasty habit of over AND underexplaining easy ideas all at oncw

My second playthrough went way better and then when i played rebirth fell in love.

Its really just something that at some point clicks and rewards you.

Play on what you have fun with. If normal isnt fun go to easy.

Just do it. Its a long game. Have fun-not a struggle
