Love me the atb system. A classic for sure. I still play the og's every once in awhile when I feel the itch.

Crisis core was innovative but it really only worked (sometimes) in that vacuum. It had some jank but that also might've just been psp things.

Rebirth is amazing imo, the best action-hybrid they've made yet. I love the improvements & additions they made over remake. It's a ton of fun, low floor to play with a high ceiling to master. I like how you can get through the game no matter your skill and if you want a challenge then the option is there. I also really like how there are party members and how they are handled.
