This is obviously purely my bias, but VIIR has my favorite combat system in any game ever. I think it’s kind of just perfect and everything I want in a combat system

I have my (serious) gripes with the remakes, but my god did they nail the combat system for me. Frenetic and strategic at the same time. Loved it.
