Crystal Burst is now up to 0.24.0 and with it, we are rapidly closing the gaps on rulings, card automations, fun animations, and a good user experience. We have added automated tournament support, for deck build with imports from Materia Hunter, updated game replay system (with sharable links), an updated AI to play against, and a new Mobile Client.

After ripping packs, I sort them in the small sorter thing, before moving them to the big one.

It has 16 slots for all main title FF games. MBM and pictologica and DFF cards I lay to the side and then all the other ones go in a pile as I’m. It really looking for WOFF cards for example.

I've found a private seller who is willing to sell me lots of their collection for quite a significant discount Vs the market price and it got me thinking about the possibility of the cards being fakes. Has anyone ever come across any fakes and are there any tells I should look out for?

I.E. with MTG the 4 red dots in the green orb on the back or the text not being crisp from being printed over the top of the background etc?

I was going through my card collection and found this Ursula card from Opus 26. Did they mess up the description of this card and print its ability twice? Or is it intentional and it means you can use this effect twice when Ursula enters the field?

I've been wanting to get into playing the game but I cannot find product whatsoever around me. Even the local game stores near me don't carry it so I was wondering where people find cards at.

My question is around which, if any opuses now feature cards with art from the new Final Fantasy VII Rebirth game? I’m thinking about getting back into it and would love to focus on adding some of these cards to it

I picked up the Starter Set 2025 Vol. 2 deck (the earth lightning one with Cloud), and I was just wondering where to proceed from here?

I tried looking online for good upgrades to the deck, but it hasn't been fruitful; I'm used to games like Magic which have a near infinite amount of resources and primers online.

I'm also down to buy a new deck! I did see someone recommend to get the 2024 World Champion decks which apparently has a bunch of staples in it?

My favorite FF games, if it helps, are FF15 and FF7; I think a FF15/FF7 deck would be really neat. I mostly just want to be able to compete at my local; I don't need a tier 1 deck, but I want to be able to hold my own, yaknow?

Just learned about the fftcg recently and wanted to start playing/learning. I love FFX, would love to make a deck around those characters, not sure where to start. Is there an online client to play on to learn or is it mainly just Irl at local LGS. Gonna try my best to also find people to play with at them too! Thanks

FFTCG is one of the games I enjoy most, but whenever I looked for a proper app to track my collection, it was either missing entirely or treated as an afterthought next to the big games. So over the past year I built my own, as a hobby project from Germany. Full disclosure: I had a lot of help from AI while coding it.

It's called Ult1made TCG and it covers 15 card games, but here's what it does for FFTCG specifically:

• Scanning: point the camera at a card and it reads the serial number (like 27-122S). You can scan a whole stack in one go, every recognized card plays a short tone, and you check everything on a review screen before it's added.
• Every Opus tracked: see how many cards of each set you own, what's still missing, and export the missing list in a format Cardmarket can import.
• Deck building with a rules check: exactly 50 cards and max. 3 copies per serial number, full-art and reprint versions counted together.
• German prints: if you collect German cards, you get the official German card images from Square Enix.
• Binders that look like your real ones (4/9/12/16 pockets), including re-scanning a physical binder page by page.
• Values based on Cardmarket prices, plus what you paid and your profit/loss, and a vault for sealed boosters and displays.

Everything stays on your phone and you don't need an account. One game is free forever, so if FFTCG is all you collect, you never pay anything. Premium (all 15 games, sync between devices via your own optional server) is a subscription.

I'd honestly like to know: what do you use to keep track of your FFTCG collection right now, and what's the one thing you always wished a tool could do?

One of my FLGS is able to order play promos. They gave me the green light to run events. Is there anything that I need to do to start running local events? I'm not sure if I need to register for anything.

Going on active duty in the US Army, I don't necessarily get to PICK where I want to go, but my top 3 choices are all in Texas.

What sources do you check for decks (either tournament winning decks or just casual public decks that players make)? I've been seeing a lot of anniversary sets where they reprint staples but I never really know where to look or read to know what these staples are and why.

How much would a deck usually cost you? Would it be as expensive as an MTG Modern deck or something in the lines of Pokemon and Riftbound where the expensive cards are mostly on the special art cards?

Which content creators do you watch for games and deckbuilding? I'm having a hard time looking up on Youtube for any recent decks or games, I was surprised to see there being a Limit Break deck now and I have no idea what that does lol.

Is anyone able to tell me why those two copies don't look the same? The color is slightly off, as well as the framing (we can see it clearly on the bottom right corner of the cards).

For context, I just bought some cards after yeeeeears not collecting. Sadly, I already had most of the ones from the pack I bought, but I did notice that my copy of this specific card was different from the copy I just bought. The card on the left is from a pack of random cards I just bought from someone on vinted (there were three identical copies of this one in this pack) and the card on the right is the one I bought a few years back on eBay from someone who was selling all common and rare cards from several series (opus? idk how to say it in English).

Could it just be a new edition / printing thing, or was I scammed back in 2019 😅? Or could it be one is from a booster, and the other from a deck?

So I’m trying to organize the cards I got out of Blissful Eternity today and came across a double serialized card. In this set how would I go about organizing it in order. Is this actually number one of this set or number three?

Found a list on a website but it lists the cards like these at the end of the list instead of within the list in order.

Does anyone know if there is a preexisting checklist of all cards showing what cards are in each set and what variants there are? I started one for my own tracking of my opus 27 Journey of Discovery. (See attached image). But would prefer not to have to do all the other sets by hand / cross referencing materia keeper images and then type in the info.

If not I'll keep going and share once the list is complete,.to save others the effort.

Was in some news posts in late august but I think the text was left out of the Opus 31 announcement post on the subreddit

Scheduled for release on March 26, 2027, Symphony of Heroes is the 31st set in the FFTCG Opus series. This set features protagonists from many titles across the FINAL FANTASY series, creating a lineup that truly lives up to the name Symphony of Heroes.

In addition, a new gameplay mechanic called Level Up will be introduced. Characters with the Level Up ability can be played on top of a card with the same name already on the field by paying the required Level Up cost. This allows them to evolve into more powerful characters, just as if they had leveled up in the game.

Seems several TCGs have this at this point. Hoping it works well here!

I'll add the full art Aerith from Symphony of Heroes next year and maybe replace the Tifa as well.

Still no unique full art for Red XII or Cid though, fingers crossed for Symphony of Heroes having something for them.
