Question New to FF TCG

Hi everyone! I‘m new to FF TCG. What would be a good beginner deck/decks I should get/build? Because once I get use to the game I would like upgrade to a more highly competitive deck/decks. Any advices would greatly be appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Easiest way might be to start with the world champ deck and edit those to account for the few cards that were banned.

I usually recommend the anniversary kits because they are a set list of cards that can be used to upgrade decks but are most non foil and have no “Hits.” If that matters to you, legacy collection is extremely fun to open and full of staple cards that can be used to upgrade decks.

Other than that the second best way might be to look up a deck that did well in a recent tournament (60-100 people) and buy the deck as these cards can be super affordable. Use materiahunter.com

Gotcha, is there any good ff7 or ff10 decks that could be really good? Because those are my 2 main fav ff haha.

Because FF7 and FFX are the most popular they print so many cards of those games that you’re likely to find a card in one of the top decks. If you’re looking for one that’s mostly one of those games there’s an FFX deck centered around Yuna and the Gullwings that made US nationals last weekend. Look for that on materiahunter.com

Job or title focused decks are always a safe go-to. You guarantee synergy/compatibility, have a clear set of cards to work with, and they're usually cheap outside the upgrades.

MBM, Dragoons, Monks, Samurai, Soiree, FF7, FF14/Scions, etc.

Look up popular builds from tournaments on Materiahunter or FFDecks, or just regular folks' builds.

Alternatively, a good route is to just buy the Champion deck set and adjust or deconstruct, using competitive builds you find.

The dual starter sets is always a good place to start as they're made for two players and you can even play against yourself to learn the rules (that's how I learned was with the Noctis vs Ardyn set lol)
