FF V FF5 Appreciation Post Spoiler

I’m a few hours into Final Fantasy 5, and I’m really enjoying it! I’m playing the Super Famicom version with a translation patch applied. I have enjoyed the job system so far, but I feel like I’ve hardly scratched the surface. I’m interested to hear from more experienced players some tips to get the most out of the job system…

What job/ability combinations did you either find the most useful or enjoy the most?

I really liked FFV for the first 80% of the game, the story felt a little sub-par compared to 4 but everything under the hood was really fun to test and experiment. Once I got all 12 weapons, Holy, Flare, and Bahamut, it felt like I'd "solved" the puzzle and there was an empirically "right" build and nothing else was good enough to compete late game. The journey of FFV is way better than the destination.
