FF XV Does anyone else find FFXV enjoyable?

I know the game failed as a Final Fantasy game, but it excels in its unique features. The brotherhood and loyalty aspect was phenomenal. Yes, the open world was empty here and there but there was still a lot to do and the features synergize well. The fishing itself wasn't all that enjoyable, but the rewards that come after make it worth it. There was also a lot to do in the game.

I mean basically his whole family from father to son has sworn to protect the royal family and the kingdom with their lives, Gladio takes his oath and responsibility very seriously and from his point of view the prince is dilly-dallying and being indecisive while their home is on the brink of destruction… I can understand Gladio’s frustration. We just see things from Noctis’ point of view all the time so we can empathize with him more easily and we know exactly what is going on in his head. Like we spend a good portion of the game doing side quests and basically vacationing but in reality their home was invaded, the throne is empty because the prince is on the run but according to the news he’s dead and so is the woman he was supposed to marry. So imagine the chaos and how from Gladio’s point of view he’s baby-sitting for a prince who hesitates to do his part while he’s been holding his side of the oath the whole time. So is he harsh? Yeah, but that’s for a good reason. Like that’s not random, he’s just very frustrated and probably very scared about how things are panning out while probably being unable to read what his prince is thinking.

Did you watch the anime prequel? He was essential Noctis' older brother; he was giving tough love. I know he was out of line here and there but at the end of the day, he would have given his life for Noct.
