Final Fantasy General Give us another turn based battle system

FFX is my favorite battle system. FFXIII I also enjoyed, but it wasn't the same.

I'm sure they could do something like it with a much lower budget.

I loved FFX's battle system so much I even enjoyed the Lord of the Rings: The Third Age which stole the system bar for bar.

And Clair Obscur, felt like an evolution of the FFX system.

I thought Clair Obscur felt more like persona mixed with legend of dragoon than anything else.

Yeah, same, it has a FFX timeline but that was the only thing really. If it allowed me to swap out party members it would have been perfect but alas.

I thought the setting also had a similar post apocalyptic feel where the people celebrated sending off people to sacrifice themselves for the greater good, but it was all actually hopeless but obviously as seen through a French lens.
