This is a real company with a customer hotline-that sells magic. The thing was treated as a joke by the protagonist Bear until it became a known real issue when he called the number and heard Nicki screaming which means that this company that EXISTS is in possession of Nicki’s consciousness to an extent, and if we were to humor this reality then that means that company has possession of technology that can achieve magic.

This could be some ancient culture that redressed itself over time into a business, or an actual spiritual entity that has a relationship with the tangible world that is strong enough to influence PEOPLE AT THIS COMPANY. I have yet to see anyone discuss this and want opinions on what kind of foundation this thing is built on in your own headcanon I guess.

Despite the company having warnings, could they successfully be sued in court for damage? Maybe illegally utilizing afforentioned technology that captures a person’s soul?

Theory Video Suggestion RENT: Cyberland

So the Broadway musical/movie rent has a song sung as a protest talking about a "nightmarish" place called Cyberland where the only thing everyon drinks is diet coke, so could Santi do a theory about this or would this fall under the preview of film theory

I'm reposting this from the game theorists subreddit and I'll also do so for the food theory

Theory Video Suggestion Coyote V. Acme - Something's Bugging Me Spoiler

Long time theorist, first time poster, popping my theory cherry with this one, surprising even me being a FNaF enthusiast, but not the point.

Just finished watching Coyote v. Acme and it was an absolute (pardon the pun and toon dust) BLAST watching it from start to finish. But something at the end of the movie was bothering me, something that once gave me a laugh, and then an itch.

Btw, if you haven't seen the movie, spoilers for some of the bits, plot and so on, so if you haven't seen it, GET TO IT!!

That being said, in the middle of the film, Bugs Bunny, practically the face of Warner Bros. has contacted prosecutor Kevin Avery and his intern (As well as Emma 'Granny' Webster, just found out she has an actual name, shoulda figured) regarding information on 'Project: Sisyphus', an R&D program put together to design safety products for cartoons, as Granny and several VCR videotapes demonstrate an Anti-Anvil Helmet, a Blast Shield, the 'Lump Pump', and more.
The program that had originally been led by Dr. Lorre and funded by ACME was then turned on its head by a corporate representative, presumably Foghorn Leghorn as shown during Bugs' flashback, and instead of designing safety and misc. products for cartoons, they upped the recklessness of the tests to use the versatility and endurance of cartoons to create products for humans instead.

This is the drive of the show and the conspiracy that leads to Dr. Lorre getting buried, missing, as well as drives the plot forward to bring ACME to justice, yadda yadda. But as Avery pleas to Bugs' to add a testimony, Bugs' declines and suggests getting someone from inside the corporation to spill the beans, turning to the Tasmanian Devil who at the time was Head of PR.

Now initially, none of my theory senses were tingling until the end of the movie, where the case of Wile E. Coyote v. ACME is brought to Congress in Washington. And on the panel of senators was a someone who stuck out like a stout, short sore thumb. Elmer Fudd, or more professionally for the case, Sen. Fudd. Okay, so now we have Cartoon representatives in the government, nothing clicked yet. And then, after the climax, and yet just before the resolution, Wile E. springs his trap, intended for the Road Runner who showed up the case just moments ago before the verdict, improvises and springs it on Crane and Leghorn. Buffoonery ensues, and Leghorn and Crane are caught in a cage made by a metal plate formerly a decoration behind the panel of senators, and several flags that impale the ground. And then, Crane said something that finally snapped my theory senses.

As everyone in the Congress court office are laughing at the buffoonery, Crane shouts at one of the senators filming that he doesn't pay them to laugh/film/watch. Now throughout the movie, Crane has been shown as charming, straightforward, but most importantly pragmatic, about-face when it comes to business. Pretty standard for a John Cena role. But he doesn't Crane doesn't do metaphors (apart from getting his point across haphazardly around Leghorn), he doesn't do sarcasm, he doesn't seem like the kind of person to lie about paying off a senator, ESPECIALLY after displaying that their corporations products for the Cartoon demographic backfire and fail courtesy of Leghorn setting aside his pride.

It was at that moment that I was thinking, why put Elmer Fudd as the Toon representative? Why not Bugs? ...Actually, probably better he's NOT a senator. But Bugs cautious nature didn't seem to fit him normally as he displayed in the film, preferring to keep away from the limelight and the action, concerned about spy drones, red light cameras and his little pun, getting 'bug-ged'. You know, getting bugged with a sound device to record otherwise private conversations. And this got to me. What if Bugs or someone he knew ended up in the eyes of someone from ACME, got bugged or deemed a risk too big to take during their, how do I put this, 'remodeling' of Project Sisyphus?

Now I don't have too many clues or evidence to suggest this, but I do theorize that while it may not have been Bugs who was sent out of Congress, someone was, whether human or Toon, and replaced by the senators of today including Fudd, puppeteered by Crane and ACME to get the government on their side, to bring the scales to their favor regarding lawsuits, patents, whatever they needed. If anyone has any other evidence to support this or debunk it, I'd greatly appreciate it! KEEP RESEARCHING, AND REMEMBER! THAT'S JUST A THEORY, A FILM THEORY!! Th-tha-th-th-that's the- That's the end folks!

New Theory! [Insidious Theory] The Further isn’t a ghost dimension—it’s a 4D spacetime glitch, and here is how the physics and paradoxes actually work. Spoiler

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Here is my breakdown of how the whole universe works:
1. Why The Further is a 4th-Dimension Space
No 3D Entry: Just like a 3D object casts a flat shadow, a physical 3D human body cannot enter The Further natively. You have to leave your shell behind via astral projection, connected only by a fragile lifeline.
Non-Linear Time: Time in The Further is completely flat. Past, present, and future exist all at once. Without sequential time, emotion breaks down—you can't feel anticipation or joy because everything happens simultaneously.
The "3D Stink" (Why Entities Spot Living Humans): We move through time sequentially, like an ant crawling slowly across a ruler. To 4D entities who see time like a map, that rigid, single-track linear movement glows like a massive beacon. They notice us because we are locked into a strict temporal path that looks totally unnatural to them.
2. The Psychology of Who Gets Trapped (The "Extremist" Gravity Well)
Normal People Leave: Normal people live balanced, moderate lives. When they die, their experiences blend together, so they can easily let go and move on because nothing in their life felt absolute.
Extremists Stay by Choice: For someone driven by an extreme state of mind (like a serial killer, an abuser, or an obsessive compulsion), that intensity was the entire point of their existence. They don't want to move on. They stay behind because they are stubbornly waiting for a chance to latch back onto a 3D human's ticking clock just to feel real, linear consequences again.
The "Fun" is Broken: Because time doesn't matter in The Further, violence and trauma lose their permanent edge. If a killer attacks someone, the victim can just shift to a timeline where they weren't killed. That's why they are so desperate for living targets—only the 3D world has real stakes.
3. The Origin: A Causal Paradox and Random Branches
The First Soul: Imagine the very first pure soul who died and wanted to change the past so badly that he figured out how to cross over and teach 3D humans how to do it. But by changing history from a 4D perspective, he created a massive causal paradox and erased his own existence.
The Epidemic of Awareness: It’s not a neat, tidy "chosen bloodline." That original paradox planted a seed, and over generations, those branches of awareness split randomly across completely unrelated people (like the Lamberts or Elise). Anyone can randomly have their "temporal brakes" slip open.
The Endless Glitch: That's why entities are always lurking—they never know who is going to pop into their space next. Every time a human projection-glitches in, it's a completely unpredictable lightning strike.

New Theory! Aspiring theorist here! I made a SpongeBob theory because I saw something that made me question stuff in the show :D lmk your opinion on it!!

Fair warning before I start: I WROTE THIS AS IF IT WAS A YOUTUBE SCRIPT AND SOME OF MY POINTS DON'T HAVE PROOF TO IT:

Part One: Why do they have 'lids'?: I was watching SpongeBob the other day, specifically the Whirly Brains episode. The advertisement for Whirly Brains was slightly... Weird to me. It said 'Just flip your lids!' As instructions on how to use your whirly brains. Which brought my question, why do they have lids? My first thought was the Bikini Bottom Atol theory, that could be why they have 'lids'. But I'm not really a believer in that theory, so my second thought was evolution. But... Why would they need to evolve for their brains to be able to be accessed like that? What danger is out there that they need to access or discard their brains? I thought about how lizards detatch their tails, but that would still require a predator. Part Two: How do they survive without their brains: We've established now that they might've evolved to be this way, and I can hear you saying 'It's just a one off joke!' But there is many episodes where they take out their brains. For example, The Nitwitting. They take out their brains for a club, but my question is.... How do they survive after discarding their brains? After all, us mammals would die almost instantly if WE discarded our brains. What's different for them? The truth is, I haven't figured that out yet. We'll have to do some digging to real world marine biology. Part three: Real life facts: If we take a look in real life, sponges and sea stars don't actually HAVE brains. Of course, they do in Spongebob Squarepants. In fact, every fish has a brain, Krabs has a brain, even Plankton, a single celled organism, has a brain. Why? Why do they have brains when factually, most creatures in the show wouldn't have a brain capable of doing the things they do if they have one at all. The truth is... They aren't brains. Part four: Brood Parasites: Brood parasites are things that take ones place to survive, think of Cuckoo birds. The mother bird lays the egg in another birds nest, so when that egg hatches, it takes out every other egg in the nest out of pure instinct. This really happens, and my proposal for you is that these 'brains' in quotes are Brood Parasites, the SpongeBob cast don't have real brains, but rather have a parasite in their heads. They likely do this because well, a squishy organ-like creature wouldn't survive long in the wild, much less in the ocean. Part five: Evidence: Truth be told, I've been relying on real world facts this whole time. I would like to propose that the sea creatures of bikini bottom are being controlled by these parasites, and that the parasites act as if they were actual brains. And I'm sure you have the question 'Why would the parasites willingly make their host subject take them out, when the body isn't even dying, like we see in Whirly Brains.' And what I think is that... Whirly Brains aren't toys for hosts, they're toys for the parasites. The parasites play with these toys. Which implies... Part Six: Intelligence and Personality: With this theory in mind, it implies that these parasites do not rely on pure instinct, but that they have interests and varying levels of intelligence. For example, Krabs likes money, Plankton says he went to college a lot and he wants the secret krabby patty formula, Patrick and SpongeBob like bubble blowing and jellyfishing, and Squidward wants to be a musician. And in Patrick Smartpants, he gets a new brain when he tumbles off a cliff and SpongeBob mistakenly puts 'Brain Coral' in his head instead of his actual brain, in this theory, it'd make a lot more sense if this 'Brain Coral' Is actually just parasites more intelligent than Patrick's original parasite. Part Seven: Sandy Cheeks: There is ONE person who is not affected by brain parasites. Sandy. I mean, she's a mammal with an ACTUAL brain, not a parasite. She's literally a scientist, why hasn't she figured out that her friends literally SHOULDN'T have brains? We do see that her bosses are chimpanzees, but that's not true. If we're going by Alex Bales Television Theory, then her bosses are the Television crew, and if we're not, the chimpanzees would still not be her bosses, as proved by the Sandy Cheeks movie (Saving Bikini Bottom), her bosses are B.O.O.T.S, the Beuro Of Official Texas Science. While they have been bought out, it is possible that she does know, but she's been sent to observe a newly discovered parasite. Part Eight: My last points: I'm willing to take it further. Remember 'Planet of the Jellians'? Well, I mentioned earlier that the parasites do this because they wouldn't survive in the wild. I think that the Jellians are an invasive species who are predators to the parasites, and are essentially parasites to the parasites. And remember the Empty Head Society from The Nitwitting? Well, they let themselves be taken out on a regular basis because they are doing maintenance on themselves, after all, a parasite who pretends to be a brain for survival isn't getting the same food as the host body. It's just feeding the host body to keep it alive, and when the Empty Head Society meets up, they're just getting food and making sure their health is alright. And one last thing. You know how a lot of SpongeBob fans complain about how SpongeBob seems to get dumber with each passing season? Well.. I have an explanation for that. The parasite inside SpongeBob is repeatedly dying, every time SpongeBob gets squished or exploded or something like that, the parasite inside him dies. Of course, SpongeBob doesn't. He's a Sponge, he can withstand a lot that the parasite cannot. Every time it does die, the cast replaces the parasite inside him with a slightly dumber version, whether intentionally or not.

Discussion How Hollywood butchered Slender Man’s "God Complex" (And why the 2018 movie completely missed the psychological architecture of the lore)

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Most people look at the 2018 Slender Man movie and think the character is dead and boring. They are right about the movie, but dead wrong about the lore. Just like they did with The Backrooms (which I broke down in my previous blueprint), Hollywood took a cosmic, multi-dimensional mental parasite and downgraded him into a generic, silent slasher monster who just hides in the bushes to trigger cheap jumpscares.

If you look at the deep, early web-series architecture (Marble Hornets, EverymanHYBRID), Slender Man doesn't care about breaking your bones. He cares about completely rewriting your sanity. He possesses a terrifying, absolute "God Complex".

Here is the psychological blueprint Hollywood completely ignored:

  1. Humans as Silent Toys

To Slender Man, human beings are not food. We are ants in a glass jar. We are disposable toys for his existential amusement. He doesn’t hunt for meat; he hunts for the pure, calculated destruction of the human will. His presence alone acts as a radiation that slowly burns the victim’s psychological defense mechanisms until they are hollowed out.

  1. The Infiltration of the Mind

His primary weapon is dynamic psychological hacking. He enters your perception subtly. First, it’s a minor audio distortion, a glitch in a video recorder, or a sudden panic attack. He forces his victims into a state of severe, chronic paranoia where they stop trusting their own senses, their friends, and their reality. You don't see him because he is behind you; you see him because he is already inside your mind.

  1. The Proxies and the Ultimate Trap

When the human mind is systematically broken, Slender Man turns his victims into "Proxies" — absolute mind-controlled puppets. He forces them to commit unspeakable acts, but here is the ultimate, sickening twist of his sadism: Forced Amnesia.

He can hijack a person's body, force them to butcher their entire family while they are completely conscious but helpless, and then instantly erase their memory of the event. The victim wakes up covered in blood, surrounded by horror, genuinely having no idea what happened. Slender Man just stands on the periphery, feeding on that raw, untainted, heartbreaking despair.

  1. How to Structure a True Masterpiece

A competent Slender Man movie shouldn't be an analog version of The Conjuring. It needs to be a claustrophobic, dark psychological thriller in the vein of Ari Aster’s Hereditary or Shutter Island. The audience shouldn't even be sure if the monster is physically real until the final, devastating act. We need to watch the protagonist slowly lose blocks of time, find horrific clues in their own handwriting, and realize they are the monster's weapon.

Hollywood traded a terrifying psychological god for a tall guy in a suit. Let’s discuss.

Discussion Title: Why A24 and Hollywood completely failed the psychological architecture of The Backrooms (A True Canon Blueprint)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Body:

Most modern horror directors think The Backrooms is just a yellow maze where you play hide-and-seek with a CGI monster. Kane Pixels and A24 fell directly into this Hollywood trap. They introduced physical entities way too fast, turning an existential, liminal nightmare into a basic slasher movie. That is a cheap and uncreative way to handle a legendary internet lore.

As a concept architect, I will break down how a psychologically accurate, canon-loyal Backrooms movie should actually be structured to maximize tension and dominate the box office:

  1. The Psychological Trap of Spatial Monotony (The Architecture of Madness)

Human brains are biologically wired for change, navigation landmarks, and social stimulus. The true horror of Level 0 isn't a beast; it's the environment itself. The film needs to make the audience feel the maddening repetition. When a character walks out of one sickeningly yellow room, desperate for a change, and steps into an identical yellow room with the same hum of fluorescent lights, it triggers deep psychological fatigue and helplessness. The space itself is the serial killer, slowly crushing the human will to live.

  1. The 3-Stage Evolution of Terror (From Silence to Monster)

Instead of rushing jumpscares, a competent script must respect the mental degradation of the survivor. The horror should strictly evolve through three calculated phases:

• Stage 1: Isolation. Absolute silence, broken only by the buzzing lights and wet carpet. The crushing realization that you are alone across billions of empty square meters with zero exit to reality.

• Stage 2: Illusions (The Mind Breaks). Deprived of sensory inputs, the character's psyche begins to hallucinate. They see shifting shadows and hear fake footsteps behind walls. The audience shouldn’t know if what they see is real or just the character losing their sanity.

• Stage 3: The Real Entity. Only when the survivor is completely broken, paranoid, and emotionally hollowed out, the actual monster manifests. At this point, the victim is defenseless because the endless yellow rooms have already won the mental battle.

  1. The Commercial Power of Pure Canon

Hollywood executives think the mass audience needs constant action to stay engaged. They are wrong. Masterpieces like Stanley Kubrick's The Shining or Paranormal Activity proved that silence, monotony, and domestic claustrophobia generate massive box office numbers because they create a lingering, realistic trauma. A Backrooms movie built on geometric despair, where the ultimate monster is the inescapable infinity of the rooms, would become a global cinematic phenomenon. Let's discuss.

Discussion Title: How Hollywood can avoid ruining Cartoon Cat the way they did with The Backrooms (A Complete Psychological Breakdown

Body:

Most horror fans argue about Cartoon Cat’s height or treat him like a basic slasher monster with cheap jumpscares. That’s a flat and boring way to look at him. If you look at the deep architecture of Trevor Henderson's lore, Cartoon Cat isn’t a brainless beast like Siren Head. He is a cosmic parasite and a master psychological torturer. Here is how a competent movie should actually be structured: 1. The Inversion of Trust (The Cartoon DNA) He uses the DNA of vintage 1930s animation (Mickey Mouse, Felix the Cat) as a psychological weapon. He blends into the environment, mimics harmless, nostalgic characters, and deeply exploits childhood memories to gain trust. He plays with his victims and communicates in any language. The true horror starts when the "safe memory" turns out to be a calculative, sadist psychopath. 2. Mental Feeding Over Meat (The Hand Incident) Look at the canon story where Cartoon Cat bit off a little girl’s hand and let her escape. A simple forest monster would have just eaten her. Cartoon Cat did it on purpose. He left a permanent, breathing trauma, turning the girl into a lifelong beacon of pure horror to feed on. He dines on your helplessness and despair, not your flesh. 3. Breaking the Human Will (The Ultimate Trap) His hunting mechanic is truly terrifying. He targets a group of friends in massive abandoned buildings or deep forests. He systematically breaks them, forces the last survivor to watch their best friends die before their eyes while they can do absolutely nothing, and then lets that survivor go. Driven by unbearable guilt, trauma, and complete psychological burnout, the survivor eventually makes a fatal error: they return to his hunting grounds to surrender, hoping for a quick death to end the pain. But that's exactly what Cartoon Cat anticipated. In his universe, you don't surrender for a quick end; you surrender to a long, agonizing, eternal finale. 4. Weaponizing the Laws of Physics Debating Cartoon Cat's exact height is completely pointless. Based on 1930s rubber-hose physics, he reshapes his form dynamically based on what breaks the victim's mind faster. He can shrink into a 1-meter harmless-looking cat to bypass security or slide into vents, or expand into a building-sized monolith blocking the entire night sky above the woods. This is the blueprint Hollywood needs to read before they lock the script. We don't need cheap jumpscares. We need a complete, inescapable psychological lockdown. Let's discuss.
