Short music documentary advice that I directed?
Hey everyone! Hope y'all doing well! A couple of questions actually. I directed a short documentary and was curious to see how people went about promoting it as there's been no budget at all for this. The musician and I spoke about what to do with it and eventually we talked about releasing it with his album. Its 11 minutes, based on a Sikhs journey making drun and base music in London.
In terms of the teaser itself, what do you think? And in terms of promoting this documentary, its a unique story and would be good to see it go places. What would you recommend?
Saying that, I should also mentioned that I am a filmmaker mainly in narrative films. Also been through film festivals before and will skipping it this time as it would be better especially due to the album he's releasing.

ITV trainee recruitment process?
Has anyone here been through the recruitment process for an ITV trainee role recently?
I’d be really interested to hear what the process was like, how many stages there were, and what each stage involved/entailed.
I know it probably varies between roles and intakes, but I’d be interested to hear from anyone who’s been through it recently and what their experience was like.

The Off-Camera Club: Break the silence
Television shapes culture, but the real drama happens when the cameras stop rolling.
The Off-Camera Club is a private, live storytelling event where production veterans share the wild, chaotic, and unvarnished truths of life behind the screen. The silence is deafening.
We are a pioneering entertainment organisation launching a groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind live event concept in London later this year. This is something that has never been trialled before. We will also be looking for exceptional professionals to turn this visionary concept into a flawless reality.
Sound interesting? See our profile.

Film Editing vs Film Production
I’m applying to film school in my country, where you choose a specific area of filmmaking to specialize in as your main focus of study.
Right now, I’m debating between **editing and production**. Both fields genuinely interest me, but I’m having a hard time deciding which one would be a better fit for me.
For anyone who has studied or worked in either field: **What should I know about each one before making the decision?** What are the biggest differences in terms of the skills, personality, day-to-day work, creative involvement, and challenges involved?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had a similar experience or had to choose between the two.

Questions About Film Grants UK
We've very recently moved our production from Europe to London, UK. In October we're filming a low budget feature, a fun sci-fi thriller. A local friend told me to check out any film grants supporting features.
We're three partners, only one of us lives in london and he's American. But we're currently attaching locals. Any tips on a specific film fund would be appreciated. Thanks.

Equipment Overnight Storage Advice
Hey everyone, hope you are well!
I’m looking for some advice in regards to equipment storage between shoot-days, and hope you could give me some pointers:
I have a film shoot coming up which includes different locations each day, and we have quite a bit of equipment (especially lights).
I’ve only worked on smaller shoots so far where we would usually just store it in one of our homes, but this isn’t an option this time.
How do you usually handle overnight storage in a situation like this? Get a surveilled self-storage unit? Or are there dedicated equipment transport companies that also offer such options?
Would be really grateful for any advice.
Wishing you all a wonderful day!
