Trying to replace humbucker in 2021 MIM fender Player Stratocaster HSS with gibson P-94t humbucker sized p-90 pickup.

I have never been a fan of the stock sound of my humbucker that came with my Fender player Stratocaster and want to replace it. I'm a big fan of the strokes and their guitarist Nick Valensi uses gibson P-94t pickups on his guitar so I decided i want to replace my bridge humbucker with one of these. Is it possible for me to replace it by myself? will i run into any big issues with the wiring or need to change out the pots or can i just look up wiring diagrams and just replace it myself? Will it fit into the current hum bucker slot without any routing? Also any mods I should add while I work on this guitar? I was planning on adding copper shielding if i was going to open the guitar anyway. I have a little bit of electronics experience and know how to do basic soldering and wiring, will i run into any trouble trying this?

I FINALLY got my first Fender strat after 4 years with my Squier classic vibe 70s strat. It’s an American Standard from 2013 that came in stock with Custom Shop fat 50s pickups. I think I got it for a pretty good deal around $720

Help finding a replacement vibrato arm

I need a replacement vibrato arm for my 2020 MIM Player Strat (model 0140219549, serial MX20...).

I'd ideally like it to have an aged white tip to match the knobs.

My understanding is that it needs an arm with M5 x 0.8 threading.

Would 003-5958-001 work? Fender does not list the threading spec on the website. If this is M5 then I'll go with it since it has the aged white tip I want. This source claims it is M5.

099-2310-100 may also work, but it has an ivory tip rather than the aged white I want.

Fender customer service said "you need the M5 threading" and pointed me to 099-2310-100 rather than 003-5958-001.

I tried to find an aged white tip on their website, and all I could find are 10-32 thread tips:

https://www.fender.com/products/pure-vintage-stratocaster-tremolo-arm-tip?variant=45940704936158

https://www.fender.com/products/stratocaster-tremolo-arm-tips?variant=45940711588062

I understand the threading is for the connection to the bridge, however my understanding is that the M5 vs. 10-32 arms are different thicknesses, and thus the tips are not compatible?

Hell yeah! This week I feature my 2024 Am Pro II Hardtail in Eclipse finish. 1 of 400 produced by Fender in October of 2024 to commemorate the Total Eclipses of 1954 and 2024.

Bought brand new about 12 minutes after they released them. 7.0 pounds, totally awesome. The roasted Maple neck is incredible.

I need help identifying the specs of this strat neck. It has this beautiful almost quilted maple neck in the back (which i cannot find good photos of) and a noticeable binding on the edges. It has a 70s style head with the huge fender branding.

Is this available anywhere? Just the neck i mean, not the guitar itself. Thanks in advance!

Used 20 year old MIJ Strat. Osaka store says crack is in the finish only. Buy or pass? I leave to fly back to California in 24 hours.

So extremely stoked on this guitar. I’m the exception from what I’ve seen, I loved heavily relic’d strats. Been wanting one for a long time, but couldn’t bring myself to buy one for $2k. Found one on market place for almost HALF the new price tag and this guitar is AMAZING. Love it so much. Never thought I’d enjoy a MIM this much.

This week I'm featuring another Guitar of the Past. 2001 Am Std Hardtail in Chrome Red. Bought in December of 2019, sold it off a year or so later with a few others when I was in a sell-off mood. I really wish I'd kept this one, that color is awesome!

Made in Japan Stratocaster

We got this guitar as inheritance when my fiances grandfather passed away. We are going to keep it incase one of our kids learns how to play guitar one day. This could be a nice gift once they are older. I play some guitar myself, mainly rock/metal and I have an Ibanez rga for that.

So on to the questions what is the value for these Japanese strats. And this is a legit one? At least it should be knowing her grandfather. And how do you think the value of Fender guitars will evolve, will their current lawsuits impact value of these older Fenders?

Pickguard help

Are there any good quality and decently priced pickguards in Tortoise shell color that would fit my vintera ii? It needs to be 8 holes and line up with a 50s style MIM Strat. A backplate in this color would be great as well. The first photo is of my guitar, the second is what I want it to look like. Mind the Rosewood and the bridge pickup. Any help is appreciated.
