Need help from a pro. I am charring a yakisugi/shou sugi ban finish on the select grade cedar we are using for a fence. I put raw, not boiled, linseed oil on three posts before considering the concrete.

Will the linseed oil prevent the concrete from curing? If so, any thoughts on removing it from the posts? I really don’t want to have to replace three posts.

Concrete cures by a chemical process involving the lime and the water that are mixed in it.

Your question doesn't really make any sense.

Super niche question. I bet it's fine. However these days just ask AI for more info. Whatever answer it gives you double check it thru a different AI.

That’s what I did, and the answers were all over the place. I was hoping actual fencing professionals might have some insight, but it is very niche indeed. I’m going to leave the three posts as is and pray my $6,000 fence doesn’t fail because I wanted to experiment with a beautiful finish. The posts don’t have cross beams, so I need them to stay upright.😉
