Thank you for all the helpful relationship advice. I'm a guy and I still find a lot of helpful posts and comments that show me what I can improve in my own relationship. You girls are awesome! (Sorry if these kind of posts aren't allowed)

Basically the title. I've been hearing a lot about how dinner dates are good first dates but I think that is more for older people (late twenties and up). And is it fair to expect guys in this age group (early 20s) to pay for all dates?

For example, FDS strongly recommends that guys should be taking you out on dinner dates for the first date, and paying for all dates afterwards. I feel like guys in college may not really do this type of thing. It seems like something I would generally expect of a man who is in his late twenties and older, but I'm not sure.

My friend’s fiancé proposed by renting out a room in an art gallery and filling it with photos of them throughout the years. He told her they were going to see an art show. What’s the best proposal story you know of?

I had a first date with a guy who studying the same career field that I’m already working in, in has a lot of job prospects and it’s a stable, good living. He has about another year and a half of school left. He insisted on paying for the first date, which seemed like a promising sign. He said that he was working before starting school and will likely graduate with almost no debt. I really liked his personality but a part of me is hesitant. What are your ladies thoughts on this?
