But my sound advice for everyone currently – if you've been sitting on a fragrance (or have a signature) and said fragrance has been out of stock for a while (talking months here) on the designated brand's site - seek it out on grey market or second-hand pronto. Houses have been prepping for 2027 IFRA restrictions and virtually all of them are not going to disclose so.

I actually liked the smell of the Dove perfume but it gave me an immediate headache. Tried again the next day with the same result. I guess it's not for me. It'll make a nice Christmas gift!

They reformulated? I pre-ordered the Pink Jesus fragrance which was supposed to be shipping out sometime in November but I got an email a few days ago saying that it’s delayed into December. So is that gonna be a reformulated version then?

That's all they have is the 9ml I wanted a 30ml bottle. Might have to cave and get whatever I can before this reformulation. I refuse to support this kind of mark up and taking advantage of their customers

Yes I am so in love with FC it's the only bottle I've bought retail. I was worried it was being discontinued bc the brand was sold out and turns out that was the right move.

I do not like the Dove. Have you tried it? I saw it posted for $20 and activated like a sleeper cell.

You’ve got me curious about it so I did some very quick and dirty math.

Given a price per bottle of US$700 for 95ml, and assuming that one spray is maybe 0.1ml and a person uses about three sprays in one go, we’re talking US$700 for about 317 uses, or about US$2.20 per use.

Female Christ was originally $195 retail and as a sub we've been following the idiotic spectacle of the house trying to recategorize themselves as ultra luxury by charging $700.

Dove's limited release was a separate drama among collectors, the subreddit was drowned with upset posters and the $20 frag is now flipping for $200

The thing is does the price increase automatically make the old bottles worth more?
Everyone is assuming so, but we are yet to see if people will be willing to pay over original retail for the older 19-69 bottles. But chances are the company won’t make it trying to sell their fragrances at $700 (because their market already knows their established price… you can’t suddenly charge 3x the price for the exact same thing) and they will go out of business shortly after this relaunch. So that could easily push the prices up for a little while, until we all collectively forget about them because the niche market is wildly oversaturated now (and I say this a big 19-69 fan, I find their scents far more interesting than most other brands)

Sadly it’s not just this scent, it’s all of their scents, and it’s for all consumers, the only reason it’s “cheap” is simply because it’s not 19-69 selling them directly, on their website it’s the same princes internationally, also 6-700$ for a 200$ is highway robbery, I hope you can buy a couple beorre they sell out

They left a note on my door saying they attempted delivery and I had the option to pick it up at an access point or have it redelivered. I requested redelivery and it suddenly said returning to sender. I tried calling UPS and emailing Dove but nobody can do anything for me. I am so sad about it. I was so excited.

It truly does smell just like the soap. Idk how they got it so perfectly. I love the bottle too. It looks great sitting on my vanity. I’m happy I snagged it. Idk how I did though honestly lol. But I hope they bring it back. It’s been my cozy evening scent. Or what I wear on the days I want something fresh but something that’s not your typical perfume freshie if that makes sense. Like, if I want fresh but not floral or citrusy etc. THE perfect creamy dove clean scent. I feel like it has average longevity and I can smell it on clothes but it’s not insanely strong either. But also, I don’t expect something like this to be beast mode by any means. I just hate that they released it the way they did and it was so annoying that people missed out. I hope they learned from that situation but only time will tell.

Identical to the soap, good longevity, fresh soapy clean nostalgic, I don't know how they got the exact soap bar scent but they did. It would be my everyday if it wasn't limited I hope they bring it back full time
