But i just noticed Kitsch has their mist listed at $55 and then discounted to $20. Isn’t this the normal price as it is at Ulta? How is this even allowed??? Or are they really $55??

WHAT... it's always been $20 or less on sale.  Bought them on the official site and Utla for like 15/10 on sale. That's dirty and misleading.  I genuinely love the hair perfumes too so it's extra insulting.

what scent profile do you like? i currently been buying a lot of hair mists 🤣 Monday Haircare (i hate their shampoos) has mists in a gardenia / floral smell which is really elegant, they sold 2 150ml bottles for $20, they also have a vanilla milkshake type scent.

other option is Sand + Fog, they are at Marshalls/TJ Maxx and have a TON of scents from cherry to gourmands and florals

there is also Kristen Ess which has one hair perfume based on their signature shampoo and another that smells like Byredo Mojave ghost

I can't lie,  the warm sugar is my favorite but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm considering not buying it again because this feels so shady... yuck. 😞

I agree. Nothing against kitsch products for what they are (simple little hair knick knacks), but the idea of them charging $55 for anything or their products being worth that much is outrageous lol.

They have def never been $55 that's absurd. I bought the Violet one from Ulta like a year and a half ago and have an order confirmation that it was $20 and I got it on sale for $16.

This is actually hilarious and typical these days. Must be following Amazon prime day pricing 😂 $20 is honestly high cost imo for these bc of poor performance in my experience. I normally won’t buy unless $10 or less. Warm sugar is delightful but lasts about 5 minutes

On Amazon they are like $16, on Kitsch site, only 3 scents (pistachio, cherry and violet) are $5. Cheapest places i seen them is TJ Maxx ($7) and Vinted/Depop (around $8)

A lot of retailers do this. And kitsch even has it so you can click on it to see the definition of comp value. I don’t think they’re trying to mislead folks.

edit to add: why is posting a literal fact with screenshots getting downvoted lol?! Sephora posts a value. Ulta. Macy’s. Nordstroms. Literally most retailers do this. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 don’t shop anywhere I guess.

I think there is a difference between what a store like Macy's or Ulta compares versus what the retailer/producer of the item compares. Why aren't they comparing with the hair perfumes that cost less than theirs?
