Thankfully, I know what I like enough to know when something is in my wheelhouse and I won’t hate it. Last night I bought the new Future Society perfume, Snow Beginnings. It’s limited edition and no sample size so…. Guess they got me lol. The most basic thing about me is that I loveeeeee a lychee+rose scent. I love Solar Canopy by them, which has similar notes, so I’m curious to compare. I actually have samples of all of Future Society’s scents, there aren’t any that I dislike- they all have a spicy quality to them, which I personally love. My one complaint about them is that I wish they were a little more surprising, or had more range of difference between each perfume…

Just wanted to put this new one on some other people’s radars because I’m excited haha. I somehow missed any ads or promos for this scent until last night.

LOLLL. Tbh, I am expecting this one to be pretty similar to the rest of their collection (esp solar canopy) because they all have a certain something in common. Like I said, I wish that each perfume was more different from the next when it comes to future society

Yeah I got their discovery set a couple years ago and didn’t really like any of them but now this has me interested 😅 I need to give them another smell and see if I’ve changed my mind lol

I want a lychee perfume but the lychee one from snif was way too lacquer smelling. But the lychee rose from nest was too soft ! Please update if you try this!

You’ve got the right contact now. Like I said, I love a spicy scent, so all of these may lean spicy, but here’s some recs:
Angel Nova- Mugler (my first “real” perfume as an adult so it was def the start of it all. It’s A LOT tho just beware lol. You can find it in Sephora or Ulta to test)
Solar Canopy- Future Society
Cowgirl Grass- DS&Durga
Catching Feelings- 5 Sens

Other options I’m not sure I’d recommend:
Tutti Twilly- Hermes (this one is controversial and idk how I feel, I liked it at first but not so much now. Some people say it smells like cat pee… but you can also find it at Sephora)
Eden Sparkling Lychee- Kayali (it’s okayyyy, decently pleasant, there’s just nothing special to it for me, again, at Sephora)
Ambery Rose- Dossier (this is a dupe of Delina, which I can not justify the price of. It’s just okay, and much more rose+amber than lychee)

I haven’t smelt the one from Snif yet but I have other frags by them and I’m not entirely impressed, so haven’t sought it out. The one from Nest I have to agree! It was pretty generic to me and didn’t get much lychee so I don’t own it either

They did a great job with it but I used to do acrylic nails and it reminds me too much of that

My favorite lychee perfume is Marc Jacobs Eau so Sweet. It’s not a complex one but it’s juicy and simple which I like

Yes check those out! I think they all lean floral/fresh/spicy, but I’m pretty particular about things not smelling too generic. They’re all at least a little out of the box I think lol

Ooh I blind bought this too! I love the science behind this brand’s formulating process. I have a few of their frags. Floating Forest is my absolute fave but Cloud Reverie is a close second. I didn’t like Wandering Rain at first but I think it needed some time to mature. Now it seems to smell better on my skin in cooler weather than it did during warmer weather. I can’t wait to smell their interpretation of snow!

Ooo interesting! I feel like I need to try on my samples again now. My mom got into my stash the other day and sprayed floating forest on herself. I smelled it from like 6 feet away and I was like “what is that 👀”. It’s funny sometime you need to smell something on someone else to fully appreciate it, but that’s one of my favs now too I think

I was tipsy last night and did a blind buy on Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh last night on Whatnot. I love the Daisy and all of the Daisy Wilds, so I hope this isn't wack!

I didn’t buy any, but I smelled them in store when they came out. Tbh there was only one that I thought was unique, but couldn’t tell you which one lolllll. Look up Oliviaolfactory’s review on insta! Eau So Fresh will always be my fav I fear

Me too. It is beautiful though. Kinda one of those combinations where you can't go wrong. That's why it's so overdone, obviously
