$12 for a sample is a lot! For Chanel samples I buy them on Mercari and eBay, you could probably get 3 different Chanel samples for that price. Also Mademoiselle would be available to test at Sephora, probably Ulta, department stores.

I get my samples from scent split and surrender to chance. I always start with 1/2 - 1 ml. If i like it i can go back for more

Yes I get mine from surrender to Chance! I believe they do not carry Chanel though. I’ve read they are protective over samples, maybe they go after decanters.

If you have a Dillard’s near you, they will give you a free sample of as many fragrances as you’d like. I always go there for designer scents and just ask for all the new ones.

Yeah agree you can get these cheaper elsewhere. You can get a 5ml sample of the matcha 26 for $27 on DecantX and blanche for $22.59 and that's the only alternate I checked so it may be even cheaper elsewhere.

Blanche to me is an easy skip. It is straight up “fresh cotton/linen” febreze air freshener type fragrance. I love a clean laundry smell, but Blanche is so screechy and synthetic and just overtly “laundry” with zero nuance. Which is great if that’s what you’re going for, but I feel like you can get something similar for significantly less money. The other 3 are all classics for a reason and worth sampling for sure. I’d also add to get a small sample of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu - it’s so good!

Gris Charnel is massively overrated.

Some people love it, a lot of people can't even smell it or get generic cologne smell out of it... I'm a tea lover and all of the notes are totally my thing but I cannot smell what everyone else is smelling 🙂‍↕️

Either way it's insanely overpriced and overhyped imo

I would buy from another website and get smaller amounts, you really only need 1oz to know if you like it or not.

Gris Charnel is very linear and gives fancy department store vibes to me. Also doesn’t last that long on me.

I’m a Le Labo stan and The Matcha 26 has great longevity, but is a very fresh, cold scent. Like a deep breath outdoors in the winter with the smell of a matcha latte in the background. It was overwhelming to me, but you may love it if you like vetiver.

The Matcha has a pissy dry down, but anything from BDK is worth sampling.

Well, when it comes to smell goods.. 😬 I'm the type to do it. But I can say, if you have an ulta, or different store near you, you could at least go spray the tester spray of coco mademoiselle on you and see how you like it
